I am the CEO of Gaff’s, and I’m here at this Caribbean gaff in Chorlton that serves some fire jerk chicken cooked over fire—the only way it should be done. It’s marinated in a ridiculous amount of spices—more spices than the Colonel puts in his chicken. It also has a secret ingredient, which I cannot divulge.
The jerk chicken gets a lovely amount of color and is super juicy on the inside, with that jerk sauce all over it. I ordered the jerk chicken burger, and that smoky flavor is absolutely incredible.
Let me tell you about this oxtail and curry goat—both are served on the bone, and the meat is super, super tender. I’ve never had oxtail like this.
Put a plate in front of me with nothing else, and I would devour it. This curry goat was an absolute joke. The meat is served on the bone, most of it falling right off.
I also tried the chicken curry—not something I usually order, but it’s great for people who like boneless stuff.
They also do a selection of homemade cakes and bakes, some of which were actually vegan, like this yellow cake that I had.
